It all started 40 years ago in Filsbäck, outside Lidköping. A dream of running something of our own, of cooking good food with good ingredients and of having a place where people actually want to hang out. It took a little while, but here we are now – in one of Sweden’s (in my opinion) most beautiful places.

In the middle of a green sea of ramsons, in a glass house with century-old vines and with a view of Lake Vänern, we serve most of what you could possibly need for a successful break: a hearty lunch, a really good coffee or an ice cream to take out into the sun. No weirdness, no frills. Just hearty flavors, preferably with a mix of the hill's own pantry and inspiration from the rest of the world.

The restaurant is located right by the Kinnekulleleden, Vänerleden and Biosfärleden trails, so whether you're hiking, cycling or just happened to end up here by accident – we're a great stop. Come in for a coffee, lunch or a beer.

So, stop by if you're in the area. We don't promise anything extravagant, but we promise you won't leave hungry.
